What is a Transformation Program?

Excuse me if this appears to be a bit of a rant, but...


Every day, everywhere you look gyms and fitness groups are advertising 'Body Transformation Programs' - along the lines of "sign up for 6 weeks and get access to x amount of classes"


Sorry, this is not a Transformation Program, it's a cleverly marketed class pass! Yeah you might lose weight or feel fitter if you increase your workout frequency, but any increase in activity levels will achieve that!


A Transformation Program should be Scientifically Informed - designed to trigger a specific physiological response and achieve sustainable results. Every single person has a unique genetic make-up and it is impossible for each individual to maximise their own results as part of a generic fitness routine.


All of our Transformation Programs are based on Scientific principles and specifically designed to achieve particular results. For example, The Shred incorporates 3 weeks of training for hypertrophy (allowing enough time for the body to adapt to workload through increased muscle mass) before a period of stripping body fat, whilst continuing to build lean muscle. The whole process targets an increase in the metabolic rate and is supported by nutritional guidance. The intensity, session design and nutritional requirements are all determined by the client and their needs. The Shred not only changes the way you look, but also challenges your perception of training and your capacity for growth!


So, if you're considering taking that leap and challenging yourself to complete a Transformation Program ask yourself... Will this help me to achieve my goals safely and effectively? Will I be able to maintain the required level of training? What happens when the program ends?
