Core 10 Test now available @ Fit2The Core

December 6, 2016

Fitness and wellbeing is about more than working your butt off in your 1-2-1 or group training sessions. We need to ensure that our body is functioning to it's maximum capability and remains in perfect balance.

Diet and exercise go a long way to maintaining equilibrium, but sometimes unseen issues can affect our performance.

Fit2The Core Training Systems is excited to announce the introduction of the Brunel Health Core 10 test!

The test allows identification of your levels for ten of the most important markers for health and ideficiencies (or out of range levels) that need to be addressed to ensure that you can perform optimally.

The Brunel Health Core 10 test covers:

Vitamin D Low levels of Vitamin D have been linked to acne, eczema, poor skin condition and dental cavities. Vitamin D is also crucial for skeletal health, overall wellbeing and even mental health. With studies showing that more than half of the UK population could have inadequate levels of Vitamin D, it can be highly beneficial to know your level.
Vitamin B12 and Folate (Vitamin B9) Low levels of these B vitamins can affect our bodies ability to produce healthy red blood cells, new hair, nail and skin cells. They are also important for optimum energy levels. Often people can be deficient in B Vitamins due to their diet, or their bodies’ ability to process B12 from their digestive system. Some estimates show that up to 40% of the population have a low level of Vitamin B12. The good news is once we establish your exact level, we can address it quickly through dietary changes or a supplement protocol.
The test also includes:
Ferritin (Iron) This is essential for energy release and vital cell functioning and is often tested by professional sporting bodies. This compound represents the level of Iron within the body and a low level is often the cause of sporting underperformance.

Albumin (Protein) which is important for energy & wellbeing

FT4 & TSH (Thyroid) crucial measures for your metabolism, weight management and energy levels

Magnesium which can influence strength and clarity

Calcium which contributes to bone health, memory and other vital functions

Sodium an essential electrolyte, particularly useful for efficient muscle action
The test is easy to conduct through a finger prick blood sample, which I can do for you at our private studio or you can complete in the comfort of your own home.

The test is only £149 and your results will include medical commentary from a Brunel Health GP to help identify which levels could be improved and which metrics may be affecting your health and wellbeing.
